Dominican Republic Comic Con announces its third edition with Natalia Tena as a star guest

The pop culture event will be held on October 24th and 25th at Puerto San Souci, Santo Domingo Este, featuring international guests, contests, cosplay, anime, video games, and entertainment for the whole family

Santo Domingo. — Dominican Republic Comic Con announced the celebration of its third edition, scheduled for Saturday, October 24, and Sunday, October 25, 2026, at Puerto San Souci, Santo Domingo Este, with a lineup that will bring together Hollywood actors, renowned Latin American voice actors, international cosplayers, and representatives of Dominican talent.

British actress and musician Natalia Tena will be the star guest of this edition. Tena is known worldwide for playing Nymphadora Tonks in the Harry Potter film saga and Osha in the HBO series Game of Thrones. She is also the lead singer of the band Molotov Jukebox.

International guests

The international lineup also includes prominent figures from Latin American dubbing and the world of cosplay.

Mike Leal, from Mexico, is a voice actor and director. He began his career at the age of seven and is recognized for voicing Ash Ketchum in Pokémon since season 13 and Eren Jaeger, the protagonist of Attack on Titan.

From Venezuela will arrive Luis Carreño, actor, announcer and dubbing director, recognized for being the Latin Spanish voice of SpongeBob SquarePants, a character he has played since the year 2000.

Also participating will be Dafnis Fernández, a Mexican voice actor and announcer, known for lending his voice to characters such as Roronoa Zoro from One Piece, Tyrion Lannister from Game of Thrones, and Gabriel Agreste/Hawk Moth from Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir.

The world of cosplay will be represented by Banana Cospboys, a Mexican duo made up of Luis Gamboa, known as Jinu, and Eduardo Peralta, known as Abby. Both are internationally recognized for the creation of costumes, mechanical props, and their performances.

Representing the Dominican Republic will be Kosena Master, an illustrator and 2D video game artist, recognized for his character design style, his artbook project Barrio!, and the character creation workshops he develops.

Shows, contests and entertainment

During the two days of the event, a program will be developed that includes shows, contests, and activities for different communities of geek culture.

Among the proposals is the MegaUnboxing, one of the most popular shows among attendees; the stand-up comedy special “Café Internet”, by Minor Pérez, and a block dedicated to horror by Proyecto Paranormal Latam, with Israel Barrantes, known for the production Noctis.

The K-pop community will also have a starring role with the K-Mecca Con block, which will include dance, singing, and other activity competitions.

Cosplay will be one of the main attractions

The third edition of the Dominican Republic Comic Con will host the Mega Cosplay Master Cup Central America, a competition that will feature 32 participants and for which registration will be available starting August 29th.

The winner will receive, among other prizes, an all-expenses-paid trip to Megacon Costa Rica 2027, participation as a judge for the Megacon Top 8 alongside international guests, a professional photoshoot session as champion with Kameko Cosplay from Costa Rica, a US$200 gift card at Panda, as well as the official Master Cup champion trophy.

Content Creator Program

The organization also announced its Content Creator Program, a community that brings together more than two million people and seeks to connect creators from different communities as ambassadors for the event.

The program will allow creators to be linked with guests, activities, and brands through content produced before, during, and after each edition.

VIP tickets and experiences

Tickets will be available soon through Uepa Tickets, CCN Servicios, Supermercados Nacional, Jumbo and Merca Jumbo. Prices will start at RD$1,500 during the pre-sale week, the date of which will be announced soon.

Two special memberships will also be available:

• VIP Club — US$100: includes tickets for both days, official 2026 t-shirt, random Funko, exclusive 2026 art badge and lanyard, official cap by Jagi, exclusive 2026 design pin by Pinteresting, VIP security wristband, and a collector’s box with an exclusive design.
• VIP+ Club — US$150: includes all VIP Club benefits, plus two experiences with international guests.

Transport from different provinces

To facilitate the arrival of fans from different parts of the country, a transport service will be enabled with routes from Santiago, La Vega, Bonao, Villa Altagracia, Barahona and La Romana, as well as internal routes in Santo Domingo according to demand.

The organization reported that new routes could be enabled depending on the number of requests. All units have transport insurance.
