Within the framework of the celebration of the Three Kings Day, various artists and personalities from the Dominican Republic held toy distribution events for children in different sectors of the country, as a show of solidarity and social commitment to low-income families.
Since last weekend, entertainment figures began sharing images and videos of these activities on their social media, in which they are seen bringing joy to hundreds of children. Participants include urban exponents Yailin La Más Viral, La Perversa, Yaisel La Melodía and Sarodj Bertín, as well as communicator Vitaly Sánchez and the renowned international DJ DJ Khaled.
One of the initiatives that attracted the most attention was that of Yailin La Más Viral, who delivered toys in her newly inaugurated church, where hundreds of children gathered accompanied by their families to receive gifts in an atmosphere of celebration and faith.
For her part, La Perversa decided to move to Villa Duarte, the sector where she was born, to share with children and followers from the neighborhood that saw her grow up. The artist was enthusiastically received by residents who highlighted the gesture of returning to her community to celebrate such a significant date.
Communicator Vitaly Sánchez also joined the solidarity day and expressed her gratitude through a message posted on her social media. “Thank you, Lord, for all your blessings and for allowing me to be a channel of blessing for others,” she wrote along with a video of the moment of the delivery.
Similarly, Yaisel La Melodía shared a message filled with faith and reflection, in which he explained the motivation behind his action. “Asking God to always bless me and give me health so that I can give love to the children with these details; this is one of the reasons why I always wanted to have, to be able to give,” the artist stated.
The urban pop singer Sarodj reaffirmed her social commitment by holding a gift-giving day for children in vulnerable conditions, of Dominican and Haitian nationality, through her foundation Sarodj for a Purpose.
This year, the initiative began in Arroyo Manzano, where dozens of children received toys and messages of encouragement, and continued in Nigua, San Cristóbal, extending the impact to historically forgotten communities.
These initiatives were well-received by the beneficiary communities and highlight how public figures took advantage of the Three Kings’ Day tradition to make a positive impact, bringing smiles, hope, and moments of joy to hundreds of children in different areas of the country.
