Santo Domingo, RD – Digital content creator and urban music interpreter Angélica Gutiérrez, better known as La Gigi, has been one of the big surprises in the announcement of the nominations for the 41st edition of the Soberano Awards.
La Gigi, one of the most outstanding participants of the first season of the reality show, La Casa de Alofoke, celebrates the good news of her nomination in the “Collaboration of the Year” category, for the remix of the popular and successful musical theme “Siempre la Más” along with the talented Yailin la Más Viral and Cecky Viciny, a release from Alofoke Music Sound.
The nomination of La Gigi in this category, one of the most contested of the award, is a sign of the impact that this musical theme had, which was recorded, produced and released within the framework of the first season of the reality show, led by Santiago Matías.
This musical theme became one of the most popular hits of 2025 within the urban genre of the Dominican Republic, positioning itself in the top spots and reaching, to date, more than 31 million views on the Alofoke Music Sound channel.
“Siempre la más (Remix)”, positioned La Gigi as one of the most popular emerging talents of the Dominican urban genre, sharing a nomination in her category alongside: Voltio – Yaisel ft. El Alfa (Composers: Dick Cintrón, Enmanuel Herrera, Julio Ramos and Yaisel Erazo); Qué Sensación – Jezzy ft. Arcángel (Composers: Austin Santos and Jessy Lorenzo); Zaza – Shadow Blow ft.
