On behalf of the Faculty of Humanities, Dr. Roa Ogando extended his solidarity to the family members, colleagues, and friends of Mrs. Camilo, while urging them to honor her memory by preserving her example of ethics, professionalism, and commitment to national identity.“Her departure mourns the entire Dominican nation. With her goes an emblematic voice, a woman who broke barriers and opened paths for future generations of communicators and artists. Her life was a lesson in discipline, dedication, and love for culture,” expressed the dean.
“María Cristina Camilo will always live in the memory of our people and in the cultural history of the Dominican Republic,” he concluded.
