Karla Álvarez calls politicians who only focus on the Haitian issue racist; users attack the influencer for her statements

Content creator Karla Álvarez, popularly known on digital platforms as “La Mana”, has sparked a broad public debate after expressing her dissatisfaction with the current approach of the political class and the government through a video posted on her Instagram account.
Álvarez criticized that the national public agenda is focused almost exclusively on the Haitian migration issue, displacing and neglecting other urgent internal problems that affect the daily lives of the population, primarily citizen insecurity.
Karla called the politicians who only focus on talking about the problems with illegal Haitian migration racists, and for not giving priority to issues that are more important to her, such as security, arms trafficking, health, among other topics.
In her statements, the influencer clarified that, although she does not consider herself a political analyst, she felt the need to raise the questions that many ordinary citizens share regarding official promises and speeches. Álvarez questioned the fact that an attempt is being made to justify the lack of responses to the basic needs of the people by arguing solely the border crisis.
That venting by Karla sparked a wave of comments where they criticize her, attack her, and refute her arguments.
“You were doing very well with all the topics, it is true they are very important until you called everyone who understands that we have an identity to defend a ‘racist’. Look at the recent news in France and record another video. With love. 🫶🏼”, commented photographer Jochy Fersobe.
“This is what I said…. That many were bothered by the fact that I called them ‘racist’ because the ‘presidential candidates’ only talk about Haitians and nothing else. I mean, did seriously no one understand the message, or can at least one person tell me if they understood it?” said Karla.
