Katy Perry will offer a free concert in Mexico on August 25th

American singer Katy Perry announced on Instagram on Tuesday that she will offer a free concert in Mexico this August 25th.

The singer’s free show will be at the Teatro del Pueblo as part of the National Potosina Fair (Fenapo), which takes place between August 8 and 31 in San Luis Potosí.

Perry made the announcement in a video shared on her Instagram account, accompanied by the following message: “I am very excited about this announcement. I told you I would return and now I know when: August 25th. Fenapo, a free show for all my KatyCats. Let’s go! It’s a new show, very fun and with a lot of joy”.

Perry’s last concerts in Mexico were in 2025, when she presented the California Dreams Tour in Mexico City, Monterrey, and Guadalajara.

The announcement of Perry’s concert had been previously revealed by the governor of San Luis Potosí, Ricardo Gallardo Cardona, who shared the singer’s video on his official X account.

Among the artists announced for the 2026 National Potosina Fair are, in addition to Katy Perry, Xavi, Mötley Crüe, Tigres del Norte, Gloria Trevi, Bizarrap, Lila Downs, Yandel Sinfónico, and Sin Bandera, among others.
