Santo Domingo.- Urban music and romantic ballads took over Santo Domingo during a night filled with emotions, nostalgia, and surprises, featuring performances by Nicky Jam and Sin Bandera, who delighted the audience with an extensive journey through their greatest hits.
Nicky Jam celebrated his Dominican roots
At 10:25 p.m., Nicky Jam took the stage to start his performance with “Te Robaré”, a collaboration he recorded with Ozuna.
The artist was especially excited to reunite with the Dominican public once again and recalled the bond he maintains with the country, highlighting that the Dominican Republic was key to him being able to reunite with his mother after several years of estrangement.
During his presentation, 45-year-old Nick Rivera Caminero stated on several occasions that his roots are half Puerto Rican and half Dominican, asserting that he has always proudly carried his connection to the Dominican Republic.
For approximately one hour and 25 minutes, Nicky Jam performed nearly 27 songs, including tracks from his early years with Daddy Yankee and hits from his solo career.

Among the songs that were part of his repertoire were “Yo no soy tu marido”, “Dónde están las gatas” and “La Combi Completa”, among other hits that had the audience singing along.
The singer took two breaks during the show to change outfits, while his DJ kept the audience’s energy up with songs from other urban music artists.

Sin Bandera brings romanticism to the Olympic Center
Earlier, at 9:02 p.m., the Mexican duo Sin Bandera, composed of Leonel García and Noel Schajris, took the stage at the Félix Sánchez Olympic Center softball stadium, where they offered a show lasting approximately two and a half hours.
The artists performed nearly 32 songs, including tracks from their most recent album, “Etapas,” released in February 2026, as well as some of the greatest hits that have defined their career.
The presentation was filled with vocal demonstrations and moments of interaction with the Dominican audience. One of the most emotional moments of the night occurred when a couple took advantage of the performance of “Dime que sí” to stage a marriage proposal.
Noel Schajris also surprised the audience by walking through the stadium grounds to greet attendees up close.
For his part, Leonel García starred in one of the funniest moments of the night by joking about his ties to the Dominican Republic and claiming that he has Dominican ancestry through an ancestor who, as he recounted, was his great-great-great-great-great-grandfather.
Sin Bandera closed their performance at 11:28 at night with one of their most recognized classics, “Entra en mi vida”.
The two performances offered the Dominican public a night of musical contrasts: the energy and urban music classics of Nicky Jam, alongside the romanticism and ballads of Sin Bandera.
