Six-year-old Japanese girl becomes the world’s youngest female club DJ

Illumi Maeda, a young DJ from Japan, has become the world’s youngest female club DJ at the age of 6 years and 99 days, according to Guinness World Records. She achieved the record after performing for more than an hour at a club in Yokohama, Kanagawa, Japan, before an enthusiastic audience.

Raised in a home filled with music, Illumi developed an interest in DJing at just three years old. Although her performance included technical difficulties and left her feeling nervous, she said she was happy to have completed the challenge.

“It was a very busy day, and we had some equipment problems. I felt nervous, but I’m really glad I did it!” she said.

Now, the young musical prodigy hopes to perform for larger audiences and build a lifelong career in music. She also dreams of playing at festivals around the world and earning another Guinness World Records title.
