He is the son of economist, writer, and former public official Pedro Manuel Casals Victoria and Mrs. Isabel García de Casals, a family linked to critical thinking and public service. From an early age, Pedro showed a firm commitment to democratic values and citizen participation.

He graduated magna cum laude in Law from the Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM) in 2011. During his university years, he formed a political action group in defense of conservative thought in a liberal environment, promoting the exchange of ideas, academic debate, and participation in solving social problems.

Subsequently, he obtained a master’s degree in National Security and Defense at the Center for Security and Defense Studies (CESEDE), thus broadening his strategic vision in key areas of the country’s institutional development.

Pedro began his career as a corporate lawyer in the legal department of Banco Múltiple BDI, where he remained for five years gaining experience in corporate protocols, litigation, procedural law, and conflict negotiation.
