The Powerball jackpot has grown to an estimated $748 million after no ticket matched all six numbers in Saturday’s drawing, giving players another chance to win one of the year’s largest lottery prizes.
The next drawing is scheduled for Monday at approximately 10:59 p.m. ET. The winner can choose between receiving the full jackpot through an annuity paid over 30 years or taking a lump-sum cash option estimated at $325.1 million before taxes.
The jackpot has continued to grow since early May after no player has matched all five white balls and the Powerball. During Saturday’s drawing, no one won the grand prize, although one ticket sold in Virginia matched the five white balls with the Power Play option to win $2 million. Five additional tickets sold in California, Maryland and Texas each won $1 million by matching the five white balls.
Powerball drawings are held every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday, with tickets available for purchase until the sales cutoff time established by each participating state.
