Prince Andrew remains silent after new compromising photos in Epstein files

London.- Former Prince Andrew, brother of King Charles III of England, remains silent after the appearance within the ‘Epstein files’ made public yesterday of new compromising photos where he appears kneeling on the floor next to a woman lying beside him.

The two photographs, which do not show the woman’s face, are the first cover story in newspapers such as The Times, Daily Mail, Daily Telegraph or The Sun. In the images, Andrés, who appears to have been around forty years old at the time – he is now 65 – appears informally dressed in jeans and a white polo shirt. In one of the two images, Andrés looks directly at the camera, while in the other he has a hand on the woman’s belly, who shows a passive attitude. In the background, the presence of another person with their feet on a table can be seen, in what appears to be a relaxed atmosphere. But there’s more: in the Epstein files revealed yesterday, emails appear that may further compromise the person of Andrew, such as those Epstein wrote in August 2010 promising to send a young “Russian, 26 years old, intelligent and beautiful, trustworthy and who already has your email” to London. The recipient of the message signed as “HRH (His Royal Highness) the Duke of York”.

Indications of Andrés’ alleged involvement in sexual abuse

In the series of emails, there also appear cross invitations between Epstein and Andrew to visit each other at their respective residences. Andrew’s invitation to Epstein to the same Buckingham Palace (official residence of the then Queen Elizabeth) took place in September 2010, just one month after Epstein was released from house arrest and when his profile as a sexual predator was already public and notorious. “Pleased you’re coming here to BP (Buckingham Palace). Come with whoever you want, I’ll be free from 4 to 8,” writes who appears to be Andrew, to which Epstein replied: “See you at 4.”

Andrés, on whom evidence of his friendship with Epstein and the indications that he participated with him in sexual abuse -in some cases with minors as victims- accumulates, was stripped last October of the title of prince by his brother the king, since Andrés’ steps to disassociate himself from the royal family had not been sufficient for the monarch. Carlos III then ordered him to also leave the palace he occupies in Windsor – for which he paid a symbolic “peppercorn” – before the end of the year, but the move has not yet been completed. The British media have published photographs of moving trucks parked in Windsor this January, without knowing for sure their destination.
