U.S. President Donald Trump threatened Iran with a forceful military response after what he described as a surprise attack on a U.S. military base in Jordan.
According to Fox News correspondent Trey Yingst, Trump said, “We’re going to beat the hell out of them,” adding that the United States would respond decisively to the alleged Iranian offensive.
Yingst reported that Trump characterized the incident as “a surprise attack” and indicated that Washington would retaliate. The remarks came as tensions between the United States and Iran escalated following the reported strike.
Neither the White House nor Iranian authorities immediately released additional details regarding the alleged attack.
