The NYPD is investigating a video showing three people emerging from a manhole in Manhattan in the early morning hours.
The footage was reportedly recorded near Penn Station around 4:00 a.m. The three individuals were wearing coveralls and appeared to have headlamps.
The incident follows similar sightings reported earlier this year in Brooklyn and Queens.
Authorities have not determined what the individuals were doing inside New York City’s underground system or whether the incidents are connected.
