Grand Prix will define the national car and motorcycle championships

The pilots grouped in the Dominican Circuit Racers Club (CDCC) and the Track Club RD will be fine-tuning their machines from Friday to offer a spectacle. In the premier Racing Sedan (RS) category, the closing will be worthy of a movie finale: Jonathan Basden and Giusseppe Rivas arrive separated by just 12 points after an electrifying season. Both come from winning a race each in the past event and this weekend will be their final battle. They are joined by Tomás Urbaez and the duo Emmanuel Torres / Piero Perrone, who have also had solid performances during the year. In Street Touring, the defending champion “El Huracán” Cristhian Bonnet maintains his objectives, but he cannot let his guard down since any mistake could open the door to the duo of Tonino Aybar and Juaki Leroux, who are lurking with real options to spoil the party. Bonnet arrives at the track with 105 points and the pair of Auto No. 5 with 82. For the Stock Dominican Series (SDS) PRO division, José Lora enters through the inner lane against Yorky Mateo, promising a vibrant finish in the remaining two races. In the Amateur division, the public will have their eyes on the close duel between Aris Custodio and Fernando Mojica, separated by just 4 points heading into the final date. In Turismo Nacional, the duo Piero Perrone / Emmanuel Torres arrives with a comfortable 37-point lead over Carlos Sansoucy / Michael McKoy, so they only need a solid performance to secure the crown. The Index TC30 category presents a scenario of maximum tension: Néstor Hidalgo, José Paiewonsky, Eddy Lorenzo, and Freddy Reyes are focused on the fight for the lead, and only one will be able to claim the title. In TC32, eight drivers arrive with real options, which guarantees two heats of pure intensity. The Repsol Grand Prix will also mark the end of the high-displacement motorcycle racing season, where categories such as Super Sport, ProBike, Amateur and Street Bike arrive without clear favorites. The excitement will also continue with the low-displacement divisions, always protagonists of the show. This event is endorsed by the FDA and the FDM.
