SAN FRANCISCO DE MACORÍS. – The Gigantes del Cibao announced the signing of infielder and outfielder Samad Taylor, who is in the country and will be available to debut in tonight’s game at the Julián Javier Stadium.

The information was released by the operations manager of the Cibao team, Jaylon Pimentel, who highlighted the versatility of the new player. “Taylor brings us speed and contact, fitting perfectly into our philosophy. His ability to play multiple positions gives us immediate depth for this stage of the season,” Pimentel pointed out. Taylor, 27, was born in California and belongs to the Seattle Mariners and is coming off a great 2025 season in Triple-A. The Giants’ new import has experience in the Major Leagues with the Kansas City Royals and the Seattle Mariners, and also played in 2021 with the Tigres del Licey in Dominican baseball.
