Later, Chisholm also suffered discomfort in his right knee in a play that was not entirely clear.Despite the ailment, the infielder remained in the game to consume a turn in the fourth inning, where he struck out against the Dominican Cristian Javier. However, in the bottom half, he was substituted by the Panamanian José Caballero.
Chisholm, a key piece in the Yankees’ offense, began the day with an offensive line of .242/.339/.499, in addition to 28 home runs, 78 RBIs, and 26 stolen bases, numbers that have him in the fight to become only the fourth player in team history to achieve a 30/30 season.
