Santo Domingo. Major League Baseball announced the official 2026 postseason schedule, which will begin on September 29 with the Wild Card Series.

The top two teams from each league will advance directly to the Division Series, while the teams ranked third through sixth will play in the best-of-three Wild Card Series.
The Division Series will begin on October 3, followed by the Championship Series, which will start on October 11 in the National League and October 12 in the American League.
The World Series is scheduled to begin on October 23 and will be a best-of-seven series. In the event that a seventh game is necessary, the Major League champion will be decided on October 31, Halloween night.
The postseason will have Spanish-language coverage via FOX Deportes, Universo, and Univision, while all World Series games will be broadcast on FOX and FOX Deportes.
