Santo Domingo.– Dominican Junior Caminero continued his great offensive season by hitting his 15th home run of the year in the Tampa Bay Rays’ 8-3 victory over the Los Angeles Angels.

The third baseman hit a two-run home run in the eighth inning, a blast that tied him with Juan Soto as the leader among Dominicans in home runs this season. Caminero finished the day 1-for-5, with two RBIs and one run scored. Meanwhile, José Sirí drew a walk in one plate appearance.
Victor Mesa Jr. also provided offensive power with a two-run home run in that same eighth inning, helping the Rays break a 3-3 tie and avoid a sweep in the three-game series.
