La Romana. – Los Toros del Este defeated the Águilas Cibaeñas and secured their classification to the seventh Final Series in their history in the Dominican Republic Professional Baseball League (LIDOM), consolidating themselves as one of the most competitive franchises in Dominican winter baseball.
With this triumph, the Toros advance for the first time to a Final Series against the Leones del Escogido, in an unprecedented confrontation that will mark a new chapter in the history of the tournament.
During its trajectory in finals, the Romanense franchise has shown an outstanding performance, participating in six previous Final Series, with three national championships won, reflecting a 50% effectiveness in these instances.

In addition to their local success, the Toros del Este achieved one of the franchise’s greatest international milestones by winning the 2020 Caribbean Series, held in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
Under the direction of manager Lino Rivera, the bullfighting team recorded an impressive record of 6 wins and 1 loss, achieving the second Caribbean title for the organization and placing its name among the historical champions of the event.
