La Vega. – Jordan Hall made the winning shot with 13.9 seconds left to play to give a dramatic 92-90 victory to the Metros de Santiago over the Reales de La Vega, in a regular season game of the Super Liga LNB played at the Fernando Teruel Sports Palace.

Hall’s mid-range basket crowned a comeback by the Metros, who remain undefeated with a 6-0 record, while the Royals (3-3) saw their streak of three consecutive victories cut short. The key play came after a foul with the score at 89-90. Adris de León stole the ball on a sideline inbounds and assisted Jordan Gerónimo, who was fouled and tied the game from the free-throw line before Hall’s decisive shot. For the Metros, Hall and Anthony Fairley each scored 16 points, while Troy Cracknell led with 22 points. De León contributed 12 units and eight assists, and Florent Tamba recorded a double-double of 13 points and 11 rebounds. In the losing cause, Anderson Mirambeaux led the Royals with 19 points, followed by Malachi Richardson with 12 units and seven rebounds. Darius McNeill and Keith Williams each scored 11 points. Vegans dominated the first half with a 58-45 lead, thanks to their high offensive effectiveness and control of rebounds. However, the Metros adjusted their defense and reduced the difference, completing the comeback in an intense final quarter. On the Sunday game day, the Southern Titans will receive the Eastern Suns in San Cristóbal, while the Mariners of Puerto Plata will visit the Eastern Sugar Cane Growers in La Romana.
