SANTO DOMINGO.– The Dominican Republic delegation will return to action this Tuesday, July 28, with an intense day of competitions at the XXV Central American and Caribbean Games Santo Domingo 2026, in which national athletes will seek to continue adding medals for the country in various disciplines.

The program includes Dominican participation in chess, basketball, bowling, track cycling, diving, water skiing, trampoline gymnastics, golf, field hockey, judo, swimming, speed skating, racquetball, rowing, softball, surfing, taekwondo, tennis, shooting, beach volleyball and indoor volleyball.
Among the most anticipated competitions are the rowing finals, where Dominican boats will compete for medals in different categories, as well as the water skiing, tennis, surfing, and taekwondo events, disciplines in which the Dominican representation aspires to remain among the main protagonists.
In team sports, the men’s basketball team will face Belize, while the women’s field hockey team will take on Venezuela. In indoor volleyball, the men’s squad will have a demanding match against Cuba, and in women’s softball, the Dominican Republic will play against Guatemala.
Likewise, Dominican athletes will see action in the events of swimming, golf, racquetball, bowling, speed skating, shooting, track cycling, diving, and trampoline gymnastics, with the goal of advancing to finals and continuing to strengthen the country’s performance in the regional competition.
The day promises excitement for the Dominican fans, who will continue to support their athletes in search of new successes in the centenary edition of the Santo Domingo 2026 Central American and Caribbean Games.
