Every July 2nd, tribute is paid to those social communication professionals dedicated to reporting on the world of sports with the celebration of World Sports Journalists Day. This anniversary, established in 1995, was an initiative of the International Sports Press Association (AIPS) during the World Congress in Quebec.
n” “nThe date was chosen in commemoration of the creation of AIPS, which took place on July 2, 1924, in Paris, France, thanks to the proposal of the press chief of that year’s Olympic Games, Frantz Reichel, and the Belgian Victor Boin.
