Dominican Society of Orthodontics presents new board 2025-2027

Santo Domingo.– In the framework of its recent Electoral Assembly, the Dominican Society of Orthodontics (SDO) presented the new board that will lead the organization’s efforts during the next period 2025-2027. The management team is made up of professionals who represent various regions of the country and who share a firm commitment to institutional strengthening, ethical and scientific development, and the collective growth of the Orthodox community. It will be made up of Dr. Raúl Del Toro, president; Richard Jiménez, vice president; Marie Morrobel, secretary; Henry Adames, treasurer; Franklin Ortega, vocal; Luciano Hernández, representative of the National District; and Dr. Sarah Lora, representative of Santiago.

During their presentation, the new directive thanked the trust of the members of the society and acknowledged the legacy of excellence of the previous administrations, on which it proposes to build a stage of greater inclusion, participation, and collaboration among its associates.

expresó Del Toro.
In their work agenda, initiatives aimed at continuous training, the strengthening of study groups, and the promotion of scientific and union activities for the benefit of all members stand out. In addition, the social campaign “One child, one orthodontist” will be officially implemented in August, an action that seeks to bring orthodontic care to vulnerable communities and plans to expand to Santiago in 2026.
