Santo Domingo.– The incidence of a trough in the upper levels of the troposphere continues to generate moderate to heavy showers, accompanied by electrical storms and wind gusts in several provinces of the country, conditions that will remain until the early hours of the night, according to the National Institute of Meteorology (Indomet).
Precipitation mainly affects Peravia, San Cristóbal, San José de Ocoa, Azua, San Juan, Elías Piña, Dajabón and Santiago Rodríguez, while in Santiago, Monte Plata, San Pedro de Macorís and Gran Santo Domingo, less intense rains are recorded.
