SANTO DOMINGO.– The Santo Domingo weather will be marked this Monday by hot temperatures, partially cloudy skies, and the possibility of downpours with thunderstorms during the afternoon and early evening hours, according to the weather forecast published by Meteored.

During the morning, periods of sun with some clouds will predominate, while the temperature will be around 28 degrees Celsius. During the hottest hours, the thermometer will reach a maximum of 31 °C, although the heat index will be higher due to the high humidity characteristic of this time of year.

The forecast indicates that atmospheric instability will increase as the afternoon progresses, favoring the formation of locally moderate showers, isolated thunderstorms, and possible wind gusts in different sectors of the National District and the Santo Domingo province.

The winds will blow from the east and southeast at speeds between 17 and 34 kilometers per hour, which will help to slightly cool the environment, although the heat will continue to predominate for much of the day.

For the night, temperatures are expected to drop to 24 or 25 degrees Celsius, maintaining a warm environment. Rains will tend to decrease gradually, although isolated showers cannot be ruled out in some sectors of the capital.
