Santo Domingo.– A 21-year-old man lost his life and another person was injured during a shooting that occurred this Tuesday morning on the Mendoza highway, near the La Grúa sector, in Santo Domingo East.
The victim was identified as Jeremy Moisés Arias, whose body remained at the scene while National Police officers cordoned off the area to begin the corresponding investigations.
So far, the authorities have not reported the circumstances under which the confrontation occurred, nor have they established the motive for the incident.
Members of the Scientific Police arrived at the scene and carried out the collection of evidence with the aim of gathering elements that will allow for the clarification of what occurred.
The National Police continues with the investigations to determine the causes of the shooting and establish responsibilities.
