Given the security situation in the area, the maritime authority recommended that all Panamanian-flagged vessels adopt the necessary protection measures and, as far as possible, avoid navigating through Ukrainian and Russian waters of the Black Sea and the Sea of Azov.

According to the report released this Friday by the Ukrainian Air Force, the attack against the Panamanian-flagged vessel was part of an offensive launched by Russia between Thursday night and Friday morning with 90 long-range drones against Ukrainian territory, of which 79 were shot down by Ukraine’s air defenses.
