California. – President Luis Abinader arrived in the city of San Jose, California, where he will participate in the annual Semiconductor meeting, and will develop a strategic agenda that includes exclusive meetings with the main CEOs of leading companies in the global industry.
This invitation highlights the advances and concrete actions that the Dominican Republic, together with the private sector, has promoted to consolidate a solid and secure ecosystem for investment in this sector.
Upon his arrival, the president was received by the Dominican ambassador to the United States, María Isabel Castillo, and the businessman Samuel Conde.
The Head of State is traveling accompanied by the Minister of Industry, Commerce and Mipymes, Víctor -Ito- Bisonó, representatives of said institution, as well as a commission from the private sector.
