Santo Domingo.– Several people were injured this Tuesday morning following a traffic accident that occurred on the Santo Domingo Beltway, involving a car and a semi-truck.
The incident prompted a rapid response from emergency units, while traffic in the area was affected due to assistance efforts for the injured and the removal of the vehicles.
Teams from the 9-1-1 National Emergency and Security Response System, agents from the General Directorate of Traffic and Land Transportation Safety (DIGESETT) , and other relief agencies arrived at the scene, providing assistance to those affected and working to restore vehicular traffic.
