Santo Domingo. – Albert Ricardo Peña Feliz, 27 years old, identified as one of the alleged responsible for the shooting that occurred in the Simónico sector, Villa Duarte, where a 10-year-old child and a woman died, voluntarily surrendered to the authorities.

Peña Feliz, also known as “La Pipa”, went to the National Police Palace accompanied by his family, as part of a cooperation process with the justice system.

The young man was received by Colonel Diego Pesqueira, director of Strategic Communications of the National Police, who, representing Major General Ramón Antonio Guzmán Peralta, director general of the institution, assured that the constitutional and human rights of the detainee will be respected.

Authorities continue investigations to clarify the facts and determine the participation of each person involved in the tragic incident that has shocked the community of Villa Duarte.
