Santiago Matías “Alofoke” receives the award for Best Trap/Hip Hop Song for “BUM BUM”, performed by El Alfa and Jon Z.
Florida.- Alofoke Music marks a milestone in its international expansion by winning its first Premio Lo Nuestro, after winning in the category of Best Trap/Hip Hop Song for “
BUM BUM”, performed by El Alfa and Jon Z.
In “BUM BUM”, Santiago Matías “Alofoke” participated as a co-producer and executive producer through Alofoke Music, a role he plays in the label’s releases. Beyond serving as a platform for dissemination, Alofoke maintains an active participation in the creative, conceptual, and strategic development of the musical projects it leads, consolidating its positioning as an artist, producer, and architect behind the growth of the Dominican urban movement.
The recognition was announced during the official livestream of Premio Lo Nuestro, where Alofoke received the award in a moment broadcast live from the magenta carpet, thus marking his first victory on an international stage outside the Dominican Republic.
Santiago Matías participated as a Backstage Livestream Insider, broadcasting live from the backstage and capturing key moments of the night, strengthening the link between the digital ecosystem and the global audience of the awards ceremony.
In the framework of this celebration, Alofoke Music and Sony Music Central America and the Caribbean (CAC) officially present “Súbelo”, their first compilation of joint hits, which amplifies the impact of the winning theme and consolidates a key moment in the strategic alliance between both companies.
The project brings together three themes that have marked the digital conversation of the urban movement in recent months:
- Alofoke Music x Shadow Blow x Don Miguelo – “ZAZA”
- Alofoke Music x El Alfa x Jon Z – “BUM BUM”
- Alofoke Music x Shadow Blow x Don Miguelo – “ZAZA (House Version)”
“Súbelo” also officially presents “ZAZA (House Version)” on digital platforms, a version that became a favorite of the public after being part of the cultural universe of La Casa de Alofoke 2.
This award symbolizes something much bigger than a prize. It is proof that the Dominican urban movement is ready to compete and win on international stages. I have always been involved in the creation and direction of every project that comes out under my label. This is not just visibility, it is cultural construction. And this recognition validates that work.
