Santiago.- Amidst a massive display of grief, respect, and admiration, the municipality of San José de las Matas bid farewell this Tuesday to artist Alex Bueno, in an extensive day of posthumous tributes that brought together family, friends, music colleagues, authorities, and hundreds of followers who came to bid their final farewell to the so-called “Nightingale of the Sierra”.
n” “nThe events began on Manuel Tavárez Avenue in the municipality, from where the remains of the renowned performer were moved to the Cultural Courtyard of San José de las Matas, where they remained on display so that the public could pay tribute to him.
n” “nDuring the farewell, prominent figures from the artistic sphere, communicators, and authorities accompanied the family, expressing their solidarity and highlighting the invaluable musical legacy left by the singer.
n” “nSubsequently, the coffin was taken to the San José parish, where a funeral mass was held in honor of the artist. Following this, a long procession traveled through the main streets of the municipality until reaching the Fuente de Luz Memorial Service cemetery, located in the Para Limón sector, where Alex Bueno received a Christian burial.
