Andrea Candida Difó Marte is the new interim director of PROMESE/CAL

Santo Domingo.- President Luis Abinader appointed Andrea Candida Difó Marte as the provisional director of the Essential Medicines Program/Logistics Support Center (PROMESE/CAL), through Decree 472-25. Difó Marte, who until now served as the entity’s deputy director, will assume the position with all the corresponding attributions, as established in article 1 of the provision issued on August 21.

The decree also repeals Article 2 of Decree 484-21, enacted on August 6, 2021, and orders that the measure be sent to the Chamber of Accounts, the Comptroller General of the Republic, the Ministry of Public Administration and other competent institutions.
