Arroyo Barril City Hall and CONADIS hold a day of delivery of support devices in Samaná

Samaná, Dominican Republic. – On the morning of Thursday the 26th, the mayor of the municipal district of Arroyo Barril, Luis Felipe Fermín, in coordination with the National Council for Disability (CONADIS), led a day of delivery of wheelchairs and other support devices, benefiting people with disabilities from different communities in the province of Samaná. The initiative is part of the actions aimed at promoting social inclusion and improving the quality of life of people in vulnerable conditions, facilitating their mobility and integration into daily life. During the activity, the beneficiaries received previously evaluated and assigned equipment according to their specific needs, thus ensuring proper and functional use of the devices delivered.

The operation was carried out in an environment of closeness and social commitment, where guidance was also offered on the correct use of the equipment, while the authorities listened to the concerns of the attendees.
