The inaugural act was led by the municipal mayor, Nelson Núñez, who expressed his satisfaction with the delivery of this space. “Each image captured here will be a window to show the world the greatness of Samaná. With the arrival of the whale watching season, this viewpoint will be an additional boost for our tourism”, said the mayor.

The viewpoint, conceived as a meeting point and visual reference, will allow visitors and residents to immortalize moments next to the representation of the whales that visit the bay every year. With this initiative, the city council reaffirms its commitment to responsible tourism and the creation of public spaces that reflect the ecological and cultural richness of Samaná.
