Banco de Reservas branch opens in Sabana Yegua

Sabana Yegua, Azua.– Authorities from the Banco de Reservas de la República Dominicana (Banreservas) inaugurated this Monday a new branch in the municipality of Sabana Yegua, with the aim of strengthening financial services and contributing to the economic dynamism of this town in the province of Azua. During the inaugural event, representatives of the banking entity highlighted that the opening of this office responds to the sustained growth experienced by Sabana Yegua, a municipality characterized by its economic, commercial, and productive drive, especially in the agricultural and commercial sectors. They indicated that the new branch will allow residents to carry out their financial transactions without having to move to other municipalities, facilitating access to products such as credits, savings accounts and other banking services, which will have a positive impact on the economic and social development of the area.

Municipal authorities expressed their gratitude to the authorities of the Banco de Reservas and to the senator for the province of Azua, Lía Díaz, for the efforts made to make this work possible, described as long-awaited and of great importance for the progress of the municipality. Authorities from Banreservas attended the event, as well as provincial and municipal representatives, including Senator Lía Díaz and the mayor of Sabana Yegua, Francis Abreu, in addition to community leaders and representatives from various sectors.

Also present were the civil governor of Azua province, Minerva Navarro; deputies Grey Pérez Díaz, César Beltré Méndez and Nurca Nieve Luciano; former mayor Guillermo Comas; the provincial director of Public Health, Joel Montaño, among other personalities from the political and social life of the province.
