Santo Domingo.- With an event that combined artificial intelligence and new technological trends in information and data analytics, Barna presented the Bachelor’s Degree in Strategy and Business Analytics, a pioneering undergraduate program in the Caribbean that combines business management, data science, and global vision to train the business leaders of the future. Following an alliance with Schiller International University, students will be able to obtain a dual international degree, significantly expanding their academic and professional opportunities globally. The event, held under the theme “Decoding the Future: The power of data in modern business”, integrated technological innovation, interactive experiences, and the presentation of this academic proposal of international scope. One of the great novelties was the participation of MIA, a virtual assistant created by Barna, who served as mistress of ceremonies, marking a milestone by becoming the first artificial intelligence host of an academic event in the Dominican Republic.

The new Bachelor’s degree in Strategy and Business Analytics, with admissions already open and starting in September 2026, integrates subjects in programming, data analytics and machine learning, along with a solid training in strategic management. Its purpose is to train a new generation of leaders capable of making informed and prudent decisions based on data, anticipating trends and leading organizations with a humanistic vision in a world increasingly driven by information.
