Baseball players call for harmony and “eat a lot” during Christmas Eve

Santo Domingo. – From the Estadio Quisqueya Juan Marichal, a De Último Minuto team spoke with some players to find out what their plans are and what they do during the Christmas Eve dinner on December 24th. They called to share, to harmony and “eat a lot”, while they highlighted that being with family is one of the best scenarios during these Christmas festivities. Francisco Peña, catcher for the Estrellas Orientales, stated that his best moment is with his family, and highlighted that pork and moro cannot be missing.

On the other hand, Gilbert Gómez, leader of the Tigres del Licey, assured that he and his wife decide each year to go to their parents’ homes alternately in order to always share with the whole family. “To eat a trip, to eat a lot” he pointed out and revealed that there can never be missing on his table some pasteles en hojas and chicken skin.
