Bellas Artes receives recognition for transparency for the fourth consecutive year

The General Directorate of Fine Arts (DGBA) received for the fourth consecutive year a recognition from the General Directorate of Ethics and Government Integrity (DIGEIG), after complying with the standards established in the Transparency Ranking and guaranteeing the right of free access to public information.

The distinction was presented this Thursday, October 15, during the second day of the Week of Knowledge, and highlights the institution’s commitment to transparency, ethics, and accountability in public management.

The Director General of Fine Arts, Marinela Sallent, expressed her satisfaction with this achievement and thanked the institutional team, especially the head of the Access to Information Office, Emiliana Ramírez, for her work.

“Receiving recognition for having met the standards in the Transparency Ranking required by the General Directorate of Ethics for the fourth time fills us with satisfaction, and also with a sense of duty fulfilled,” stated Sallent.

Likewise, he highlighted Ramírez’s work and his commitment to the transparent and rigorous publication of the institution’s data.

“I also want to thank the entire team at the General Directorate of Fine Arts for this important achievement, especially our head of the Access to Information Department, Mrs. Emiliana Ramírez, for her great work and commitment to publishing the data of this General Directorate with transparency and neatness,” the official expressed.

For her part, Ramírez stated that she felt honored to receive the distinction for the fourth consecutive year and thanked the authorities and the Bellas Artes team for their support.

“I feel very honored to have received this recognition for transparency for the fourth consecutive year, thanks to our highest authority and the team that leads it. Thanks to our governing body, which is the DIGEIG,” she expressed.

The recognition is signed by Milagros Ortiz Bosch, General Director of the DIGEIG, the agency responsible for promoting ethics, transparency, and the prevention of corruption in Dominican public institutions.

With this distinction, the General Directorate of Fine Arts continues to strengthen its efforts to guarantee timely access to public information, promote responsible institutional management, and contribute to citizens’ trust in State services.
