Bonao, Monseñor Nouel. – With a solemn mass celebrated in the San Antonio de Padua Parish, the Bonao Fire Department commemorated the day dedicated to the men and women who risk their lives to protect and serve the community.
The event was filled with emotion and recognition of the arduous work carried out by the members of this service institution. During the activity, Colonel Modesto Espinal, head of the Fire Department, read a detailed report on the different emergencies in which the firefighters have participated in the fulfillment of their duty, highlighting the dedication and courage of each of the members.
Also, several members of the institution were recognized for their outstanding career and commitment to service. At the same event, promotions were also made to volunteer firefighters, in addition to the presentation of a guard of honor, as a sign of respect and gratitude for the merits accumulated over years of dedication to the institution.
For his part, Alex Sánchez, president of the Bonao Firefighters’ Board, valued the work and dedication of the members of the fire department, highlighting that their work is fundamental for the safety of the population.
Sánchez congratulated the firefighters for their vocation of service, noting that their commitment to the community remains firm regardless of hours or days, always willing to answer the call of those who need help.
The activity served as a space for reflection and recognition of the sacrifice, discipline, and spirit of service that characterize the firefighters of Bonao, who work daily to safeguard lives and property in the province of Monseñor Nouel.
