Buyers highlight excellent prices at the Inespre’s Great Agricultural Fair

Santo Domingo.– Buyers who attended the Great Agricultural Fair of the Price Stabilization Institute (Inespre), which is held in the Ciudad Ganadera, positively valued the prices of the products offered, ensuring that they represent a significant relief for the family economy. The attendees especially highlighted the low cost of high-consumption products in Dominican households, such as the plantain, which sells for 20 pesos each, and the banana, available at 4 pesos, prices they described as “excellent” and well below those of the regular market.

“These prices help a lot, because in other places the banana is much more expensive. Here one can buy what is necessary for the house without spending so much,” expressed a shopper while making her purchases at the fair.

Likewise, consumers highlighted the price of chicken, which is offered at 200 pesos, as well as the pork leg, available at 2,000 pesos, which, as noted, allows families to stock up on proteins at affordable costs during this Christmas season.

Several shoppers agreed that the fair facilitates access to quality food, while reducing the economic burden of the holidays. They also indicated that the good organization and the variety of products available make the shopping experience more agile and satisfactory. The Great Agricultural Fair of Inespre is part of the “Christmas Breeze” program, promoted by the Government, and takes place until this Sunday from 9:00 in the morning to 6:00 in the afternoon, with the aim of guaranteeing food at fair prices for the population.
