Calm environment marked New Year’s celebrations in alcoholic beverage outlets in Greater Santo Domingo

Santo Domingo.— The main liquor stores in the National District and Santo Domingo East registered a calm atmosphere during the New Year’s celebrations, without any incidents that altered public order. During a tour conducted by De Último Minuto on the morning of January 1st, it was observed that bars, nightclubs, colmadones and establishments were in a climate of controlled celebration and with little influx of people.

In some of these locations, police presence was observed, as part of the security operation implemented by the authorities, contributing to maintaining order and ensuring the safety of citizens.
