Clooney responds to Trump after his criticism of the actor for becoming a French citizen; “We’re going to make the US great again in November”

Actor George Clooney has responded to US President Donald Trump, who mocked him and his family after obtaining French citizenship: “We have to make America great again. We’ll start in November.” Clooney alluded to the fact that the mid-term elections are held in the United States in November, and the Democratic party is pointing as the winner according to YouGov or Big Data Poll polls cited by the New York Times.

The actor plays on words with the slogan ‘Make America Great Again’ -‘Hagamos América grande de nuevo’ in Spanish-, which is Trump’s motto since the 2016 elections and the acronym for MAGA.

Trump lashed out yesterday on the far-right network Truth Social against Cloone and his wife with a long message, in which he referred to both as “two of the worst political forecasters of all time.”

“They have officially become citizens of France, which unfortunately is in the midst of a serious crime problem due to its terrible management of immigration, very similar to what we had with sleepy Joe Biden,” Trump said.

During the promotion of ‘Jay Kelly’, his new film, Clooney has spoken openly about the United States and about the public television network, CBS, which was at the center of his second film as director ‘Good Night, and Good Luck’ (‘Good Night, and Good Luck’).

“Bari Weiss -editor-in-chief of the channel- is dismantling CBS News right now. Am I worried about the film studios? Sure.
