Santiago. – The Northwest Transport Savings, Credit and Multiple Services Cooperative (COOPTRANO) held its Eleventh Ordinary General Assembly of Delegates, corresponding to the 2025 fiscal year, where it presented results that reflect sustained growth, financial stability, and progress for the benefit of its members.
During the meeting, the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Víctor Darío Torres, highlighted the achievements reached by the entity during the last year and affirmed that the cooperative model continues to strengthen its role as an engine of economic and social development.
“At a time when many people are facing financial and social challenges, cooperatives represent solidarity, inclusion, and real opportunities for growth,” Torres expressed to the delegates and members present.

The assembly was held in one of the halls of the Santiago Business Building and featured the participation of the general manager of COOPTRANO, Bienvenido Rodríguez; the manager of the Guananico branch, Suleyca Pérez; the president of the Supervisory Council, Ramón Guillermo López; the president of the Credit Committee, Yonny Vargas; the advisor Ramón Rodríguez; as well as representatives from other cooperatives, partners, and special guests.
The event was supervised by the regional director of the Institute for Cooperative Development and Credit (IDECOOP), Josué Brito, who praised the transparency in the cooperative’s management and highlighted the growth the institution has experienced in recent years.

Posthumous recognition
As part of the event, COOPTRANO paid a posthumous tribute to Pastor Ercilio Gracia, who for more than a decade was in charge of the blessings at the entity’s assemblies and passed away recently.
The executives highlighted the legacy of service and commitment that Gracia left behind, thanking her for her spiritual guidance throughout the years in the cooperative’s institutional activities.
