Bonao, Monseñor Nouel.– With the purpose of improving the sanitation system and preventing sewage overflow, the director of the Monseñor Nouel Aqueduct and Sewerage Corporation (CORAMON), César Emmanuel Cerda, delivered two 5-horsepower (HP) pumps intended for the treatment plant in the Villa Liberación sector.
The investment, which exceeds RD$200 thousand, will allow for the optimization of the pumping station’s operation and prevent the constant overflows that were occurring in the sector’s streets, especially during rains or when the cistern reached its maximum capacity, a situation that affected dozens of families.
During the handover ceremony, council members Yova Banca, Odalis González, and José Francisco Moreta (El Maniel) were present, highlighting the importance of this project in improving the quality of life for the residents.
Representatives of the Neighborhood Board and community leaders of Villa Liberación expressed their gratitude to the director of CORAMON for addressing a need that had affected the community for years.

With the installation of these new pumps, CORAMON seeks to ensure more efficient operation of the treatment plant and significantly reduce the inconveniences caused by sewage overflow in Villa Liberación.
