Daniela Ondina Graciano Educational Center celebrates World Cerebral Palsy Day

Las Galeras.- This October 6, the Daniela Ondina Graciano Center celebrated World Cerebral Palsy Day, with an activity full of emotions, learning, and hope, coordinated by the Specific Classroom. During the event, artistic presentations, collective reflections, and dynamics were carried out that sensitized students, teachers, and families about the importance of building accessible and affective environments for all. The color green, a symbol of hope and resilience, dressed the spaces as an emblem of this cause. In addition, other centers belonging to the 14-04 Educational District of Las Galeras joined the commemoration, demonstrating that inclusion is a shared task that unites the entire educational community.

“Today we celebrate the capabilities, dreams and the right of every boy and girl to be part, to be valued, to be happy,” expressed the coordinating team of the Specific Classroom.

Emely Díaz, psychologist from the Specific Classroom, highlighted that “more than a commitment, with love and dedication the quality of inclusion continues to be raised”. She urged the entire educational community that “more than working, let’s dedicate ourselves to doing it with love and total dedication”. For her part, the center’s director, Maciel Amador, expressed her joy and reaffirmed her commitment to support all initiatives that promote social inclusion, highlighting that “every activity that promotes respect, equity, and love for diversity deserves to be celebrated and strengthened.”
