Santo Domingo.- After the early hours of last Monday, February 16th of this year, the young Dominique Natalia Gómez Cabrera, 22 years old, was brutally murdered by gunshots in an event recorded in the National District, who at that moment shared the same vehicle as the urban exponent Ashley Mariel Victoriano Sánchez, better known as “Masha”. The sectors called to intervene in the National District are Villa Francisca, San Carlos, Zona Colonial, Gazcue, Maria Auxiliadora, La Ciénega, Villa Juana, Villa Maria, among others, due to the recent growth of conflicts originating from dangerous gangs that are disputing territories for the control of drug sales points.

Due to this recent event, National Police spokesman Diego Pesqueira informed that DICRIM officers are pursuing, through an arrest warrant, two men identified as Yamal Anthony Núñez Vargas “Yamal” and Julio 3030 “Julio Voltio,” who are accused of shooting at the vehicle with the intention of assassinating Jhakomo Hernández De La Rosa “Yakomo,” but where, sadly, the young woman who was killed had bad luck.

On board the vehicle that was shot at was the young urban artist “Masha”, where unofficial versions report that the conflict began due to an alleged robbery and dispossession of a watch from the artist, perpetrated by Amenzon Stiven Payano and/or Alexander Payano “Eminen”, who allegedly received more than 7 shots that took his life and that were caused by Yakomo, a fact for which Yakomo is imprisoned. It is also said that because of the foregoing, Yakomo was the target of those now being pursued. Criminal record of the structure: This potential gang, according to what the prominent journalist Ramón Tolentino published on his social media, is allegedly dedicated to the sale of drugs, kidnappings, armed assaults, contract killings, and more, with national and international operations, which is why he said in his statement posted on his social media that both currents must be dismantled. This is one of the main challenges facing the newly appointed Director General of the National Police, Andrés Cruz Cruz, who must rely on the cooperation of military armed forces, through the Ministry of Defense and the Public Ministry.
