Desire takes over the screen with “Animals”; the official trailer is released
Santo Domingo. – Bougroup presented the official trailer for its new cinematographic production “Animales”, a comedy about couples that exposes the negotiation of desire in intimacy: less flowers, more sweat. Written and directed by José Ramón Alamá, the film explores how there are doors that, if opened, you have to be prepared for the consequences.
The material is now available to the public on the official channel of the production company Bougroup, with a sensual, tense, and modern display, “Animals” is positioned as the adult premiere of the season. The campaign kicks off with the slogan “Less flowers. More sweat.”, and prepares special activations around Valentine’s Day, focused on an audience over 18 years old.
The film features interesting performances and brings two media figures to their first leading roles in cinema, this time Pamela Sued and Vitaly Sánchez, who are joined by renowned actors such as David Maler, Nashla Bogaert, and Frank Perozo.
Following the success of “The Rejected” which became the most-watched film on its opening day in the post-pandemic era, the film “Animals” arrives in theaters this February 2026, promising to raise the temperature of the adult audience.
Bougroup continues to elevate Dominican cinema to new territories, in the creative, technical, and commercial aspects, with high-voltage campaigns and an IP vision that transcends screens. Its strategic alliance with The Walt Disney Company (Disney+/Star+/Hulu) has opened an unprecedented distribution window for Dominican content, consolidating the company as a regional benchmark. “Animales” joins that path: adult, sophisticated, and uncompromising cinema, designed to connect with local and international audiences.
