Agents of the Central Intelligence Directorate (DINTEL), in coordination with representatives of the Public Ministry, seized a total of 87 slot machines installed and operated illegally during several intelligence and inspection operations carried out in different sectors of Greater Santo Domingo and the San Cristóbal province.

n” “nAccording to the preliminary report, the machines were detected in various commercial establishments where they were operating without the authorizations required by the competent authorities. As a result, they were seized and placed in custody for investigation purposes and the corresponding legal proceedings.

The National Police reiterated that it will continue to carry out targeted operations against any activity that takes place outside the law, in coordination with the Public Ministry and other competent bodies.
