Chirino, Monte Plata. – The director of the Municipal Board of the Chirino district, Balbarín Pimentel, led the lighting of the traditional Christmas tree in the central park of this town on Sunday night, as part of the festive activities of the season.
During the event, a Christmas dinner was also offered, which was enjoyed by hundreds of low-income families, who shared in an atmosphere of joy, union and solidarity. Those present also danced and listened to music typical of the season, strengthening the Christmas spirit among the community members.
The director of the Municipal Board was accompanied by the members Roselio Laureano, Francisca Reyes, president of the body, and Confesora Pérez Rodríguez, who highlighted the importance of carrying out activities that promote coexistence and social well-being.
The activity concluded with a colorful fireworks display, which filled the district’s sky with color and enthusiasm, marking a special night for the residents of Chirino.
